Interesting Fact 4
I drive now. I haven't driven full time since 2003. Really: pedestrian all the way. I like driving, now. I forgot about singing in the car. This song goes out to all my brothers who like girls and harmonizing w/ taio cruz.

Character Development Encounter 2
I'm really excited to go to school. Went to orientation today which successfully inspired me. That was nice and unexpected...like watching one of those movies in the theater that you know will be bad but turns out to knock your socks. Love the element of surprise. Go Sun Devils.
PS...remind me of this post in 2 weeks, please.

Interesting Fact 3
Massachusetts uses screws to fasten their license plates to their cars that are made out of plastic. Arizona is hot. When you try and take plastic screws out of a metal car in 105 degrees, the plastic caps immediately snap off so that it seems like you will never be able to put a new license plate on the car ever again. Interesting...
Suggested solution: (1) Immediately get pissed. (2) Attempt to unscrew whats left of the screw with needle nose pliers until you eventually rip off any remaining part of the screw still projecting out of the car. (3) Call your dad to share your piss-offed-ness...and to ask for advice. (4) Heed advice and use drill bits and screw drivers in an attempt to manually unscrew whats jammed, but in actuality be sure to only put weird craters in the plastic which will refuse to budge. (5) Wipe sweat off face (still hot out). (6) Drive to Fire Stone Total Auto Care to further share frustration and listen to mechanic laugh at you: "oh boy, you'll never get those out." (7) Drive to Home Depot, buy sheet metal screws and screw those f'ers into the holes that you invent in a fit of fury. Success!
Also, don't forget you don't need to get stainless because it doesn't rain here! Haha, you plastic screw using suckers!

Neat Story 3
The guy that lives across the street from me has a bumper sticker that says "ILLEGALS HAVE NO RIGHTS" in scribbibly hand writing - like a child's. I always take political comments more seriously when its looks like my kid wrote it, so kudos. I'm honestly a little nervous and a little excited to meet him. Today he looked at me weird when I was outside with my laptop and web cam showing my parents the house. Like that creepy look cat women give to children in cartoons. Also: he has a little yellow saw horse that he puts at the end of his driveway (presumably so I wont' turn around in it because I'm the only person on the street who parks in the street and ever needs to turn around). Neat.
Neat Story 2
I tinted the windows on my car this past weekend to save "38% of heat intake". It looks like I shoot people up now. Neat.
Neat Story 1
A woman in the Home Depot parking lot asked me the other day if I wanted a hot tamale. I said "no thanks!" I had to clarify with later Cavin whether she meant the food or something else a little less g rated. She obviously meant the food. Neat.
Character Development Encounter 1
You really do get used to the heat here. I mean, you do and you don't. 112 sucks, but i've now hiked in 90 degrees and played volleyball in 100. Actually not that bad. Lots of lotion.
Interesting Fact 2
Just like at home, there are speed controlled zones at school - you know: "school zone, 25 mph". Whats fascinating here isn't that those school zones are 15 mph, its that PEOPLE drive those speed limits. Or worse: below that speed limit. On a road that my house is off of - 32nd st- the speed limit is 40 w/ two schools zones. Have you have gone 40 and then down to 10? twice? and this is at 11:15am - not an person outside insight, but I'm driving slower then the lizards that are all around me. Interesting.
Interesting Fact 1
Roads here typically have many lanes. When they need to doing piping under the road and they need to access a man hole, they block off the lane that man holes in, and the two adjacent lanes, thusly giving those 2 dudes 30 feet of width to dick around in. Also, Arizonians don't know traffic (because all roads have many lanes, member?), so when this happens road rage ensues and people go through red lights? Really? Interesting.

Intro
Right. I moved here and wierd shit keeps happening to me. Partly because its a wierd new place and partly because I'm really dramatic. Let's see if I can consistently log these events. Who knows, maybe there will be a nice character development plot laced within. Probably not though.
